The Liquitronic family of PLCs can be networked in a variety of ways with other members of the Liquitronic controller line, Tesco SCADA systems, and third party PLCs, operator interfaces and SCADA systems.
The Liquitronic family of PLCs has been developed specifically to meet the needs of the water and wastewater control and monitoring industry. It fits very well into a wide range of applications, from simple stand-alone stations to elaborate networked systems.
A unique feature of Tesco's L2000 PLC is the true "bumpless" hot standby configuration.
This innovative application of the L2000 provides stability and reliability for control applications that must always be online. When failures occur, not only do the IP addresses swap from one controller to another, the MAC addresses do as well. This allows SCADA and HMI applications to maintain constant communication with the primary device, providing failsafe security for critical process applications no matter which device is acting as primary.
Our latest product is the L1000G® Smart I/O Gateway.
The L1000G® is an inexpensive communications gateway device with the ability to bridge multiple communication protocols across Ethernet and RS232 ports.
The L1000G® Gateway features the ability to bridge multiple communication protocols (Modbus TCP, Modbus RTU, DataExpress, DataExpress+, ASCII) over multiple communication ports (Ethernet and RS232).
The L1000G® Gateway also allows you to bridge older Modbus PLCs with RS232 ports to the newer Ethernet devices without replacing your older PLCs.
The fully programmable L1000G® offers the flexibility to utilize a wide range of equipment such as PLCs, instrumentation, power monitors, and radios. With an I/O expansion module, the L1000G becomes a perfect fit for remote I/O sites
As the latest addition to Tesco’s industry-standard Liquitronic product line, the L1000G® features up to 8MB of flash memory, Ethernet, integrated security and an extended Tesco PLC feature set.
The L1000G® (and optional LED display) can operate in the harshest environments with temperatures in excess of 180° F, ideal characteristics for SCADA RTU and small pump station applications.
