The Enterprise SCADA systems are configured in a hot-standby configuration. The operating system is Windows-NT Server and the SCADA application software is Wonderware's In Touch with Industrial SQL Server. The SCADA system is programmatically linked to PSDI's Maximo as an integrated CMMS. The communications backbone to the RTUs (consisting of wells, a reservoir and Sewage Pump Stations) uses a Pacific Bell Advanced Digital Network (ADN) circuit and a VHF RF backup, in the event of a failure.
